Our staff includes engineers and designers with a wide-range of experience and talent. We structure our project teams to include one principal on every project, involved from start to finish. JDR Engineering, Inc. is licensed as a professional design firm in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, and have professional engineers with individual licenses in 7 additional states.

Our Principals are passionate and experienced professionals. JDR Principals are extremely knowledgeable in market trends and strategic, big-picture thinking, yet are passionate about building trust, sharing innovative design practices and providing the best customer experience possible.

Daniel E. Pliner

Dan has been in the design engineering field for over 30 years. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, and a LEED Accredited Professional. Dan has leadership, management and engineering experience with an extensive project management background on Institutional, Commercial, Correctional, and Energy related projects. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Platteville, Dan's leadership and engineering expertise is based on nearly three decades of industry experience.

Robert C. Stone, Jr.

Robb has been in the design engineering field for 25 years as a mechanical engineer. He is a registered Professional Engineer in six states, and a LEED Accredited Professional. A longtime member of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), Robb served as an officer for many years. A graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering, Robb has leadership, management and engineering experience with an extensive project management background on healthcare, justice, industrial, institutional and commercial projects.

Timothy D. Meeker

Tim has been involved in energy studies and simulations, boiler system design, chiller system design, large piping and pumping system design and large air handling system design for both new buildings and retrofit of existing buildings for over 24 years. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and Iowa, and a LEED Accredited Professional. A longtime member of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers), Tim served as an officer for many years. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Platteville, Tim manages multi-disciplined projects for clients, and communicates owner/client requirements to other disciplines to establish a project's needs. This includes working with and directing others during design and production of contract documents.

Our Vision

is to build long-term trusted relationships with our clients and industry partners through consistent, authentic communication, and personal service. We do this by investing in our staff with our JDR Academy and Continuing Education Program - this includes technical training and application, and critical communication and leadership skills. Everyone at JDR is a leader: of themselves, of others, and of the organization, as we strive for our collective success.
